taking my first Make Art That Sells classes with Lilla Rogers. Lilla introduced us to many great magazines, and I was pumped to find out UPPERCASE was based in my home province of Alberta, Canada. I felt a particular fondness for UPPERCASE because of this. And after being a subscriber for a few years, I got up the nerve to submit my work to the owner and editor, Janine Vangool.
